Chabot’s paintings are influenced by his surroundings and are stimulated by a desire to express his passion for the landscape, travel, and the human figure. He paints on canvas in realistic or abstract methods -- sometimes combining the two, influenced by cubism, abstract experessionism, impressionism and realism.
Although oil color is Chabot's preferred medium, he also works in acrylic, watercolor and pastels. Chabot's paintings can be found in both public and private collections throughout the U.S.
